    Mak90 sporter

Hello, new to this forum and find it very helpful! I have a mak 90 stamped receiver and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on wood furniture. I know about ironwood but it's too expensive for me at this time. I want to change out the thumbhole. What furniture would fit it and where is best place to find it? Can't seem to find any Chinese furniture at a reasonable price. Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the group !!!

Unfortunately there really are no inexpensive stock sets for the Norincos these days. Ironwood Designs makes great wood part but you are paying for the quality. Plus you have to finish the wood yourself, but I personally enjoy doing that, so I find it nice.

Getting original Chinese wood is getting expensive. The stock and pistol grip are going up in price mainly because they are getting harder to find as no more can be imported. You might check Poly Tech Parts to see what wood they have, but I would bet they are getting expensive as well.

Usually Gunbroker has stock parts available, and every now and then you can get lucky and find some at reasonable prices.
