I had a buddy of mine as a kid growing up whose mother would talk about how tough her childhood was. The fights, brawls, and ass whoopings sounded epic. It got to the point where her and some of her friends would put straight razors in their hair so when someone would grab their hair they would lacerate their fingers. Might help a lot of those ladies out if this ever happens again. But then I wonder if you could claim that on your insurance. She didn't grow up in the ghetto by the way. All that happened on the rez. Which, come to think of it, might be closely related.
