Love seeing Calicos come out of the woodwork. They were really ahead of their times when they first came out, and the idea of the drum on top of the receiver was an in your face to that jerk that thought 10 rounds maximum was all we slaves needed.

I was thinking about this picture when I posted mine. I just couldn't remember who had it.

Rock Island 1903 Springfield Rifle. Rebuilt in WWII, it has a High Standard 4 groove barrel. The M1 rifle is a 1960's rebuild around a Winchester receiver that dates to January 1942, 1 month after Pearl Harbor. The barrel is a 1965 dated Springfield Arsenal if I'm remembering correctly. Both are really accurate the 03 especially so.

Years ago I had a decent chance to buy a TIGR and I didn't. I always wish I had made that deal.

    Nice.
I put about 6 hours into re-blueing my C96 and refinishing the stock this weekend.

Found out I need a new sear spring and FP spring.

I have thought the C96 was cool since I saw one in Mad Max Beyond Tunderdome as a kid. It's on my bucket list.
