Awesome 1980's guns. Looks like you must be a Robocop fan.

Also nice G35. I'd like a Glock 34 and 26 to replace my backpack and carry guns.

Quite an odd group of firearms Skorpion!

Went "nice" when I saw the Glock, then scrolled down to see a trio of odd-balls that you don't run into too often. I have the Bushmaster M17S but I drilled vent holes in the heavy metal receiver around the barrel to try to get rid of the heat. Have a set of gloves I wear when I fire that one because between the sun heating the black painted metal and the rifle exhausting into the receiver, it gets too hot to handle very quickly. (Like the purist I am, I have replacement parts to be able to return the M17S back to original condition)

You have an entire receiver to replace your drilled/vented one?

I've been contemplating modernizing my M17s with top and bottom rails and a few other doodads. Total cost would be $250 + cost of new optics. It might be a worthy rifle if given a sturdy optics rail and the ability to accept a vertical grip and a flashlight. As it is I would be afraid of the factory optics rail breaking if it ever got smacked.

Yep, I have a complete replacement parts set that includes everything but what ATF considers the receiver, which is the part that includes the mag opening and rear stock. One of the luckiest finds I have ever made when it comes to parts.

I have to dig it out and retake the picture now that I have a nice camera to take them with.

So I decided to dig it out and take a couple of quicky pictures with most of the extra parts in the photo. Granted it was a quicky pic, but for some reason when it uploaded it lost a little in the upload.

Eventually I will let my photo talents out and take some good photos instead of these quik-pix.

And yes, I have a thing about having that Beta-C under it! Almost impossible to hold with it in place, but the coolness factor is worth it.

Thanks. Been years since I've seen Robocop. Haven't shot the 35 yet, just got it and can't wait to break it in.

Yep, one of the goofy things about the M17. Darn things heat up faster than an electric stove.

Jealous! Wish I had an extra M17 upper sitting around. Been wanting to convert mine into a railed flat-top and vent it but don't want to ruin it since they're not made any more.
