    What exists in Ukraine that affects our national interest? I can't think of anything. If the motivation is to aid Europe, we've been there done that. My opinion is that we should not get involved and dipshits 1 and 2 need to shut the fuck up. Dumb.

    The problem is that continued trouble in Ukraine will lead to major U.S. Energy exports (natural gas) to Europe. This will strengthen the economic global position of USA which is absolutely against the unspoken agenda of the current administration.

    It's already happening (click the links). Export permits are being issued and Atlantic seaboard nat gas liquefecation plants are coming online. Further, Halliburton is starting Continental gas production. The stage is set to radically shift energy production and sales worldwide. Russia and Saudi Arabia stand to be big losers, as well as those positioned against the dollar.
    Gotta keep the status quo if they're going to keep running the USA under by the present scheme- so Russia needs reigned in....for now.
