    seems the officer was still a little distracted by base and the address and let the situation get ahead of him but hell he had 30' and a door between them.
    Just sad all the way around.

    1rst he's an idiot for exiting the vehicle, second in this day of cops opening up on people with coke cans in their hands in their house, would you reach for something that could be construed as a weapon and head toward the cop car. Here's one case I actually think the cop could and should be acquitted of bad action. He'll live with it the rest of his life and luckily he's a bad shot the old IDIOT will live.

    It's not like me to defend cops, but the guy should have kept his 70 year old ass in the car.......

    With that said, seeing a guy get out of the car (when theoretically he's not supposed to), then reaching back in for "something"... sorry I can't blame the cop.

    I wonder where the rounds that missed went? Whatever happened to "know your backstop and beyond"?
