Okay, WOULD YOU RIDE these? (Thrill rides - Old Stratosphere LV)

The second one is a serious HOLY SHIT when you realize that it's just a simple concept that just can't seem very SAFE, even with 'failsafes". Also remember you're about 110 stories above the ground.

No, I would not ride them. I don't trust other people with my safety, particularly when we have seen so many accidents over the years with things that are supposedly safe. Anybody feel like taking a ride on Malaysia airlines?

I wouldn't ride those rides, no. Just...not my gig!

I fly Malaysian Airlines all the time. I think whatever happened to their flight is probably so exceptional that it could have happened to any airline.

I'd rather get drunk and fall down the basement stairs a few times.

and WHY is Chicago playing in the background at the one place? that right there would be enough to hope your seatbelt on your silly ride broke.

WTF? Apparently I missed that class......

Terra Firma in latin means 'solid earth" (actually Earth - Solid). So less "Solid" means less "Earth". HUh?

T2K was right. Your comment about Malaysia airlines was based on a false hypothesis. "quality control" has nothing to do with it. the Plane was a state of the art 777 that was hijacked. Kinda like blaming BOEING for quality control issues because THEIR planes crashed into the WTC.
