    back Into reloading

Scored a lee single stage classic press. Started with. 45 auto and some speer 200gr lswc.
    Current load is 5.0 trailboss

Did in fact see some lead streaks in my glock, so ill shoot this in my sig 1911

Also loaded the speers with longshot-6.5 grain
    And aa#7 11.2 gr
Accuracy was great. The #7 was pretty peppy.
Started looking around and found that xtreme sells plated for the same damn price so I ordered 500 rn 200gr. Fed like butter in my gen 4 21
    my ghetto setup

Powder is thrown in my bedroom using a lee perfect powder measure and laid out so I can get a visual on the levels. I know, I need a real scale

Then back down to the garage to seat and then crimp
Heres the extremes with 7.5 longshot

Ordered the 9mm die set, and 500 extreme 147gr
Will start with the #7 for that.

    Next is loading steel cases

Nice ammo. I have about 800 SWCs loaded up. Is it just the lighting or are you missing a primer? I have had that happen a few times on my progressive because of the federal small primer pockets. I have a few cases floating around and every once in a while one sneaks in. Pisses me off because it spills powder all over my press and I usually don't catch it till later.

I think for 9 mm you'll like AA#5 better than the 7. The 7 is a tad slow IMO for 9 mm.

Unless you're using a heavy load. Probably slightly compressed.

    Nice pix!

I use the AA#5 for 7.62X25 and it works out great. My Tok and CZ52 love it.

    LOOKS GOOD !

I was thinking you might want to try a hard cast .45acp SWC. Most factory lead "hard cast" is still some what soft around 15-17bnh try and find cast @ 22-26bnh. they don't lead as easy ...

Its almost impossible to charge a primer-free round loading one at a time. Like you said powder will fall thru the flash hole as soon as I charge it. I charge 30 or so, look them over good to verify powder levels, then place the bullets.

As cheap as the extreme plated is, I dont see a reason to shoot lead, really. In a shtf scenario id much rather have plated stockpiled

I bought what I could find. Arfcommers swear 7 is made for 9mm. Is it possible, for the lighter and faster loads like 115gr, the #5 is beta?
But If I see some 5 I will grab some
