    8mm Mauser Romanian ammo

Hey everyone, I've been looking to buy some mauser ammo, and I came across some Romanian surplus ammo online. Does anyone have experience with this ammo? Here's a link to the ammo I'm talking about.

Ah man I'm gonna be sick! You know what I use to buy that ammo for by the case? Meaning 2 of the spam cans. $40 bucks from Aim Surplus. I literally sold over 100 cases of that Romanian for $28 per spam can. I wish to God I'd of just put it in a warehouse, that and all the other ammo I sold over an 8 year period from 1997 to 2005. I could fucking retire for what it would bring now.

To the question is it any good, yeah it is decent 8 mm ammo and it isn't loaded dangerously hot like Turkish 8 mm. It always went off and I could easily get 2 to 2.5" groups out of it off a rest at 100 yards. They Yugo linked to you by El Laton C. was without a doubt the best for accuracy. I use to pay 15 cents a round for it. I need a stiff drink now ... (sigh)!

This ammo is excellent. It will print into 2" groups at 100 yards for me - issue sights. And yes, the price has really gone up on this... sad. But it is very good stuff. I've got a couple of cases of it.

yep I paid $44 delivered for this and the 43' marked german ammo.

shot 4000-6000 rounds of it each summer through the various 27 mausers I had.

I think I bought mine from Uli at IO down in NC for something under $40 a crate. Used to buy several crates to knock the shipping cost down. Think I still have 2-3 unopened crates in the armory.

Looks like you are sitting on a gold mine then.
