Thumbs up Anatomy Of A Fine Cigar

I was just perusing this great webite and thought I would share. I never realized the making of Habano cigars involved such long & tedious preperation. Interesting stuff too, on the history of the Cuban cigar industry:

    Yes, its very involved.

If we had been on the ball in the 19th century, Cuba would be a state or at least an American possession.

I thought this was going to be an Edmundo review.

MrK, a pleasure as always. I'm on the first third of this Edmundo. Liking it but my sense of taste and smell are a bit off due to seasonal allergies. I ended up with a Dickel Rye to go with it. Tennessee via Indiana.

Nice. The Dickel rye is not bad juice.

I was torn between this and Templeton. Both produced by LDI for their respective labels. The difference is the Dickel is filtered through sugar-maple charcoal. Mash bill is 95% rye 5% malted barley. Zero corn. Its an interesting rye. Worth the $25 all day.

Yeah, LDI only uses one rye mashbill, every body gets the same stuff, but aging and whatnot can have a profound effect as you know.
