SAR-2 just turned 12 this year...

Time flies when you are having fun I guess!

Just realized my SAR-2 of the 2002 vintage turned 12 this year, hard to believe it has been that long ago since I bought the darn thing...

Shoots through 7N6 like a champ, trigger slap and all!

Funny but quite a bit has changed since then, AWB went away 2 years later, I was stoked the day I could throw on the folding stock.

Bought a 10 pack of EG bakelites for $37.50 shipped from one of the members on here (on the old gunsnet). Think I just sold a couple of them for $40 each last month.

And you could pick any flavor SAR-1,2 or 3 and it was $289 at AIM... think I still have the sales ad somewhere around here.

While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

Nice looking SAR-2! Hard to believe how prices have changed in just a few years. $300 rifles are now over $600, mags that you almost couldn't give away are selling for $40. Try to find the correct front sight base with 22mm threads for the AK-74 brake.
