    Wisconsin Voter ID Law

    Smokes - need ID.
    Beer - need ID.
Work for the Federal Government - need ID.
    Cold medicine - need ID.
    NAACP Meeting - need ID.

Yet some fucking puke of a Federal judge says no ID is needed to vote in Wisconsin.

    This isn't going to stand.

Fair elections are contrary to the agenda. Anytime some jackass rails against voter ID laws, you know you're dealing with a marxist. Just don't expect them to have the decency to admit it in a public forum.

It would seem the ones who scream the loudest against voter ID are the ones that most need policing.

Anyone who is against voter ID has something to fear from an honest election.

We have voter ID in Indiana and it seems to do a nice job keeping dead people from voting, but I have to wonder if there are some precincts which make believe they check ID to allow continued voting abuse.

Undocumented immigrants and Viable signs of life are not a hindrance for voters in Florida.

    Voting -- that's a right.

Better check your list, idiot, we have the right of free association and free speech, like in a NAACP meeting.

For citizens it is a right - Mexicans, dead people, and felons do not have a right to vote.

So's owning a gun. Try doing that without ID.

I've bought several guns without showing ID. Nothing illegal about it.

I've also bought alcohol, tobacco, and cold medicine without showing ID.

    At a gun shop?

And I suppose I can go vote anywhere I like, not at a registered polling place?

Cool, next time I think I'll go vote at the local drugstore...lines no where near as long there.

Kind of moving the mark there aren't you?

I do think you have something of a point there though. But I still maintain my stance, as previously argued, for the same reasons.

You knew exactly what I meant initially, and purposefully chose to use the FTF example, knowing full well there is no equivalent voting method.

It is you who attempted to move the mark.

Okay, what about absentee voting? How do you "card" people there?

Of course I knew what you meant. But there is an equivalent, absentee voting.

Every state that has a voter ID law has exempted absentee ballots from the requirement.

All these voter ID laws were written by Republicans, and they ignore those absentee ballots because they think those tend to vote Republican.

The real point you were trying to make of course is that it's difficult to go through life without ID.

    Which I think is true.

But it's also fairly easy to live without one. Personally, I can't remember the last time I showed ID for something. I would guess at most I show it once or twice a year, sometimes once every few years.

Not my job to institute such a system...but nice attempt to sidestep the issue, which was whether you should have to present id to exercise a right.
