No wonder they have such a record of hitting bystanders.

But you are an old man, so close enough.

The only reason Federal continues the hydra-shok line is because of people who choose to stick with what worked for them 25 years ago. Hydra-shoks are still a viable option, but are clearly surpassed by modern loads such as Federal's own HST line.

    This clearly invalidates the study.

I generally agree with this, but my wife has a non +P rated wheel gun that I load with Hydra Shoks.

    This One confused me:
"Federal Guard Dog – “I f*cking hate living in New Jersey.”
I've seen em on a few sites but I don't get the joke.

Hollow point rounds are illegal in New Jersey, making the Federal Guard Dog popular there because it offers expansion in a flat nose bullet.

Hydra-shoks were the shit when I was a kid, so I still have some affection for them.

I actually like the old school bullet designs in classic calibers such as .357 mag.

For your viewing pleasure is a .45 hydra-shok in ballistic gel:

158 grain lead semi wadcutter hollow point +P is old school but it works. Buffalo Bore makes a hell of a version.

I got "Aguila – “I am a member at every gun forum. Yeah. Every damn one of them.”

I am a member of this one, and one other that got all quirky so I don't post but once every few months. What is the joke about Aquila and gun forums?

What's wrong with critical duty/critical defense? The critical duty is loaded hot as hell and meets FBI test requirements in .45 ACP.
