    MOLLE II ACU ruck experiences?

Getting ready to do the Death Hollow hike in Utah a week from this saturday, changed me gear up a while back. Using a surplus/excellent MOLLE II ACU ruck. Actually, went all MOLLE II and geared up in it. Also using a MOLLE II fanny/butt pack to carry my sig mk25 and my diabetic supplies in. Any reviews on this? Anyone ever hike with the MOLLE II? Seems sturdy enough. Haven't read a lot about these breaking like the early ones. Mine is about 45-50 ibs right now. I am using only MRE's, no mountian house as I just like the mre's. More trash, but I like the food texture more.

Just curiuos what the opinions were on them. Will have to post pics when I return. Will be leaving a week from this friday from wichita, will start the hike the following saturday morning, and will be out of it monday afternoon or evening, then on to MOAB to check it out for my likely student trip a year from now. I am launching an official outdoors club at my high school, have figured out how to have the boyscouts insure the trip, and have tons of staff and parent volunteers, along with strong student interest. Really think its going to happen.

It is a system of compromises for military use and also a system manufactured by some insider lobbyist. It is better than a Lg ALICE pack, by far. You will be fine with one, but the civilian market still has better.
Trying to get on the no fly list, one post at a time.

I have two ACU MOLLE II rucks, for less than 150 bucks total for both. Most civilian bags that are truly equivalent are that much for one, if not more. May not have ALL the frills, but its a good bag. I'll know for sure within two weeks.
