Question Beretta 92 Compact Price Check

What do you all think about this?

Been wanting an Inox 92 and would like to try out a compact but not sure if everything is what it's supposed to be? Not really interested in the rail but the gun looks good. For a local FTF it might not be bad.

Nice version of the 92. When the first run was made, they were impossible to find. Finally Beretta made a second run and they became more available.

As advertised they normally sell in the $650 to $700 range. The "D" spring is a preferred upgrade, the Elite hammer and extended mag release are something many like to do but really not needed, and the recoil rod being plastic has proved to be very reliable so the "upgrade" to the metal rod is not worth it.

They are slightly smaller than the standard 92FS which to some makes them more manageable, but they are still as wide.

Face to face is nice but I would go with many friends if you do.

I have the Centurion wich is the 90's version of the compact. Sweet little gun and nice shooter, they sit in the hand really well. The thing I like about them as opposed to other "polymer compacts" is they have a bit more weight that soaks up the recoil and tends to sit good in the hand.
