I don't remember that photo, not sure who's it was. The loss of the original web site information is a huge tragedy, there were so many How To and reference posts. The web site host that screwed Gunsnet over need to rot with Leprosy

When Gunsnet went down, Ozzie and I put up "temporary" boards for Gunsnet members to use so that they wouldn't drift away.
Then the members split into three groups:
(1) Members who wouldn't be caught dead using my board (they went to Ozzie)
(2) Members who used my board (some also used Ozzie's board)
(3) A handful of Roadhouse nuts who started their own "Roadhouse" and are there to this day
Also, I think (I'm not sure) that along with the old Gunsnet was also lost the email list, so it wasn't possible for members to be notified that the new Gunsnet was up.
The only ones who made it back were the ones who kept checking the old URL and their friends who were notified verbally or by email.
I'll bet there are a lot of old timers out there who would be back if they only knew we were here...
