And yes it's the same LAGC... obnoxious as ever.
I have a Book called Minutemen which is about a militia group that was written in the 60's and there are a few references about Keith Gilbert AKA Diesel. He planted TNT under MLK's stage and plotted against some other commie/socialists. He got busted, ended up doing a few years in the fed pen as well as a convicted felon. Diesel acknowledged it was him in the book. Weird...I made a thread as soon as I found it and he chimed in.

The gravel pit gunfight from this board was off the chart, as well as McUzi. The 90's were fun around here.

    (2) Members who used my board (some also used Ozzie's board)

Also, I think (I'm not sure) that along with the old Gunsnet was also lost the email list, so it wasn't possible for members to be notified that the new Gunsnet was up.

The only ones who made it back were the ones who kept checking the old URL and their friends who were notified verbally or by email.

I'll bet there are a lot of old timers out there who would be back if they only knew we were here...

    Awesome video....!!!!

    To continue...
This board was the shit in the "wild west" days of the internet.

Fortunately, I met one of my best friends on this board through an organized shoot at a well known farm in Indiana. I bought my first AR back in 2000 off of this board and learned a lot about the AK variants from the wealth of knowledge that once was the go to place for AK's back then. I remember buying 50 AK mags for $200 back then also...Great deals were to be had.

Not to knock anyone but there was a time when gunsnet was just as big as arfcom, look how they have become the go to place for our hobby and this place is like a ghost town.

So instead of reliving the glory days lets try to bring them back....
What marketing is in the works to expand the realm of possibilities for this place? I know the bashing of military members has dampened the traffic around here and my lack of respect for our guard is no secret, I view the military as regular guys and not people higher in society, everyone of us has a role in society and this nation is broke, sure our military is strong and well trained but at what cost to the very people they claim to protect? I have made a shit load of money off of the military industrial complex which makes me a hypocrite.... but I digress, so I will curb that discussion if it means this board can prosper.

    Real quick...
I would like to donate funds also, how about a membership drive? Raffles maybe? Facebook could be used as a tool to draw traffic back. It used to be cool to see the threads disappear to the second page within a few minutes cause so many new threads were added and the mods were quiet...
