Update on the shotgun search (AKA new toys)

Last week i posted about looking for a semi auto 12 gauge. I was down to a beretta 1301 and a FN SLP. Ended up going with the beretta, had a bug to try something new and I was not disappointed. Put a hundred rounds of 00 buck through it after I got it, and never a hiccup, smooth, and fired as fast as I could pull the trigger. Quality and machining on this weapon is top notch. It comes from the factory with a 2 round plug installed, popped that out in about 2 seconds and got it up to its standard capacity of 5+1. Was toying with taking it up to 6 or 7, but $45 for a one shell extension was a bit much, and the 7 would extend past the barrel and I like muzzle strikes for CQB. May still get the SLP in the future but have no issue trusting this weapon.

While I was at the store also picked up a new pistol, its one of my work guns, but since I fire it so much wanted to get one for my CCW gun.
    Sig Sauer M11-a1
has a new cut in the handle for a wider magazine, work gun has 13 rnd mags this has 15, tritium sights, phosphate coated internals, and a short reset trigger.

Update on the shotgun search (AKA new toys)

Beretta makes fine shotguns. I use to own a beretta pump.

As for the pistol... Looks similar to the one we use at work.
