    Pinky and the brain.

Well, more like pinky gets a new brain.

"Into brains of newborn mice, researchers implanted human “progenitor cells.” These mature into a type of brain cell called astrocytes (see below). They grew into human astrocytes, crowding out mouse astrocytes. The mouse brains became chimeras of human and mouse, with the workhorse mouse brain cells – neurons – nurtured by billions of human astrocytes."

"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

Pretty soon we'll have God beat at his own game...
"That tyranny has all the vices both of democracy and oligarchy is evident. As of oligarchy so of tyranny, the end is wealth; (for by wealth only can the tyrant maintain either his guard or his luxury). Both mistrust the people, and therefore deprive them of their arms." -- Aristotle, Book V, 350 B.C.E

Don't be afraid of the progress of science, my friend. These types of experiments could be crucial in figuring out cures to all sorts of degenerative brain diseases in the near future.

After all, God wouldn't have given us a brain if he didn't intend on us to use it to figure out how stuff works now, would have He?

Seriously, this is going to lead to monsters. As if man knows what he is doing.

Or it could lead to mice setting traps for us.

There was a novel several years ago where some rats with enhanced IQs escaped into the wild. They were not smart enough to do anything organized but they could out think traps, figure out what was poison etc... brought on a world famine because they were able to reproduce unchecked.
