That is a beautiful setup you got there!!! Aren't those bayonettes rare like birds teeth?

I've always wanted a SVT, very interesting rifle. I have a Chinese Dragunov and want to add a MN PU sniper and a SVT to my collection!

There was time where I wanted and SVT pretty bad. It was just little more than I was willing to spend. I now wish I had done it as I don't see them for sale much any more and, the prices went up. On the other hand I am not really into collecting russian guns like I was so I haven't lost sleep over it. Just sort of kick myself for hte missed opertonity.

I don't know if you browse the prominent local "TV" station classifieds, but somebody had an SVT40 with "scope" (type not stated) and 2 mags on there for 700 bucks. I saw it at lunch time and it had been there less than an hour. It's sold now, of course. I'm not sure what they go for on the market normally but it's got to be more than that.

Last one I noticed was around $800.00 but, that was a long time ago. I'm not to worried about it now. It would be nice to get one but, there are other things I would probably rather get more now. Having a spare mag on that one would be a good deal though. The spare mags aren't very common.

    ;-)

Bayonets and magazine pouches don't grow on threes either.

I think SARCO has mags, but am not sure if they're original or aftermarket.
