    I agree, you're doing it right. That's the way I used the sling in Service rifle competition. You form a loop that goes around your bicep then wrap it around your forearm when in the prone position pulling the stock down into your hand for stability.

    The upper was an extra from the '94-04 AWB days I had sitting around. Glad to see you got your sling squared away.

    The "no lug" look would drive me nuts. I'd have to buy a new FSB and install it.

    By the way, while I have you here, do you know the proper way to put a sling on a carbine (Colt 6520 style) with the telestock that has two holes in it and no sling loop on the bottom?

    Now I am gonna cry myself to sleep for not buying that 4 digit Colt (I thought the letters in front counted...so I had assumed it was a 6 digit)

    It's been a while since I've had it out but it's built on a per an BOHOCA receiver which is fully fenced & the barrel is far from skinny, it may be considered a machine gun barrel because it's fat under the hand guard ... and I never got around to changing the delta ring; anyway here's my rendition;
