That's kind of the point. It was designed to assist those with disabilities to shoot these larger "pistols" but, it basically allows you to have a short barrel rifle without the NFA bullshit and cost.

I just mounted a strike fire 1 for my uncles new AR. They're running $99 at Palmetto Arms. I looked up the Strikefire II but couldn't find any differences between it and the original, although I would assume the Strikefire II comes with the simplified user interface seen on the SPARC II.
For a Rifle that is 100+ yards capable I also prefer a 2 MOA dot. But this being a short range pistol, the bigger dot is a non issue. If I'm shooting further than 50 yards with this chambering, I've got other full size AR system weapons to use.

Looks good Shutz! I'm beginning to think that the Strikefire I had may have been defective. The one I got I sent back because it washed out in bright sunlight. The SPARC I settled on works great. Please post up how the function is, and how you like the strikefire in bright sunlight.

Sure thing. In as much as I have the PRO and an Eotech 512 I have plenty of red dot sights to use as benchmarks for comparison. If it washes out bad it is going back and then I'll try the SPARC. BTW the one I'm getting is Red Dot only, not the Red/Green type.

The red only are supposed to be even brighter than the red/green.

Yes, I seemed to remember reading something about that. It did influence my decision to get the red dot only version.

His flash hider has threads on it that his can screws on to. That way he can take his can on or off without touching his flash hider.

Nah, not even close. The mixed parentage of the weapon's components would be an abomination over there I'm sure. It isn't 100% Colt parts, CMMG or Noveske.

about 30 post-teen wannabe mall ninjas would have chimed in saying they bought the same parts which all failed miserably after being hit with an artillery round.
