Isn't it nice that the state is willing to take away my firearms so that criminals will be protected by the state as they commit crimes against me?!?!?

On the other hand, I wonder if they will give me 24 hour round the clock protection after they steal my God given rights from me. Oh, and I get to choose the uniformed civilian who stays with me inside my home!

    Or better, don't try!

's law allows judges to order guns temporarily seized after police present evidence that a person is a danger to themselves or others. A court hearing must be held within 14 days to determine whether to return the guns or authorize the state to hold them for up to a year.
How about this. If a person is a "danger to themselves or others" LOCK THEM THE HELL UP in an asylum until they are not. If a person is a "danger to themselves or others" then taking away only one tool to carry out that harm isn't going to do a damn thing to stop them.

Didn't the government try something similar in 1775 at Lexington? If this shit keeps up, it'll happen again...

History does have a tendency to repeat itself, especially for those who don't learn from history.

This is, also, the main reason for not registering your firearms, if you can help it.
