I dunno. I've seen a youtube video with a guy shooting a M/N using 200 grain 308 cal Sierra Match Kings, and he does a respectable job, overall.

I say you can try the 308" bullets, you might be pleasantly surprised!

I like it, You get the trigger solved and go to .312 or .311 bullets and I betcha you have a nickle group shooter consistently. Keep working, I want to see how this shakes out.
