Does this set up have to much?

Looks good to me. Red dots and flashlights are pretty standard these days. The only extra parts you have are a vertical grip and pressure switch, but its not like those weigh a ton so if they ake you feel more confident then keep them.

I run mine with no VG or pressure switch, but that leaves me struggling to operate my light if I switch hands and shoot left handed.

The only thing is I really don't like the VG because I don't have a select fire weapon and they really serve no purpose other wise. I think I'm going to take it off and just find a pressure pad mount that mounts directly to the hand gaurd.

Not really my taste, but to each his own. Still is a great looking rifle though.
Plus it's supposed to be an EBR, not an EFDER. lol.

Only suggestion I would make is a 2 point sling that pulls tight against the body like a vtac or BFG. Just in case you have to go hands on with some shithead your weapon isnt flopping around like flava flav's clock.

I don't know a thing about new-fangled fancy-type slings.

Just like ready said, I would ditch the 1 point sling...other than that I see nothing wrong. All of us live in different climates with different terrains, with different skill sets and different SHTF plans and strategies...
