heard today that the wh sanctions against Russia includes banks, energy, arms manufacturers. you knew it was coming or should have at least expected this. hey it's just an easy way to stop the flow of rifles from Russia and you do not have to mention gun control. liberals are like the terminator.... they never stop, NEVER!!!!

this has nothing to do with your 2nd amendment rights.

When you buy one of these rifles, just where do you think the $$$ is going?
I'm betting it isn't used to take care of puppies and baby bunnies.

I would think they would rise in the short term. Might actually be cheaper in the long run, assuming they keep up production there...once the supply starts to flow, the prices should come down.

Hopefully just the Russians will experience price increases and limited availability.

The Serbian/Yugo rifles are today's best AK deal IMO.

I did still want a VEPR .308 though.

So will this most likely affect the prices/availability of Arsenal and Saiga AKs only? I'm just wondering if all AKs will be affected (sarcasm on: of course they will due to panic buying) or we thinking that other imports are soon to follow, i.e. WASRs, etc.?

I still have yet to add an ak to my stable! lol

    Just thought of something:

Will this end the import of Mosins?

I got out of 5.45. NOW, in 5.56. Love ak's, think in many respects they are superior to AR's......But, I do not want to rely on imported ammo. At least ar's are all in house.......

Someone on this forum I believe just got a .223/5.56 Sagia rifle modded to take AR mags. Some company did it, and it was pretty cool. Having only one type of .223/5.56 mag to worry about is a good thing in my opinion.

Now that you mention it FG didn't someone here make one up himself? I can't remember. But, I know at least one company that does it. Guess it just depends on how much you're willing to spend to get it done. Plus I don't know if there are other places out there that do it. I just remember that MAC on facebook did a video on it and liked the results. The company does .308 conversions too.

If Arsenal still uses Bulgarian rifles you might just be in the clear. As of last check Bulgarian arms& ammo are not involved in this C.F. as for the AR mag in an AK idea I don't like it but finding good and affordable 5.56 AK so far has been Hell. What I would give for an 5.56 ak that took M85 mags( and not a pistol that has a fake can welded on to meet federal minimums)

I've heard rumors that century will be importing some full size Serbian rifles in .223 later this year.
