That video was neat. Reminds me of rat hunting at the dump during my high school years. We didn't have night vision, but just strapped a flashlight to the side of a bolt action .22 and used CB caps to keep noise down. Using CB caps, we were able to hear a definite "thunk" if the bullet struck a rat. We could, easily, get about 100 rats a night there.
Those were fun times.
