    Co-worker looking ffor a S&W 27 4".... good buys?

Anyone know where a nice buy is located?
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

    I've been eyeing this 627 Pro. Its basically a modern 4" 27 that uses 8 rounds of .357 on a moonclip. http://www.kygunco.com/smith-and-wes...-special-28378

Also, there are newly made Classics Series blued model 27s in 4" and 6.5" for around $800+.

As far as used ones go, I would check the local shops and the Smith & Wesson forum. I've seen really nice used model 28's go for around $600 on gunbroker, but the more nicely finished 27's seem to command more, especially the 4".

Here is a brand new Model 27 4" on gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=430219633

    Heres a good model 28: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=430894202

I know the 28 isn't what hes looking for, but it seems to me in my short time of researching revolvers in the last month or so that you can save a few hundred by accepting one or more "less than desireable" features such as long barrels or unpopular models.
