    black hole

Ever wonder where stuff goes when you lose it in your house and never find it again? I had a can of starter pistol caps that i am sure were laying on my computer desk next to this can of .22 flobert cartridges. Starter caps gone... Same thing happened to the rear sight from my Swede M38. Was on this desk and now its gone. Beyond me how this happens. I must have a black hole forming somewhere around this desk.

nobody stole it because nobody was down here other then my wife.

    And there is your answer

Women are always moving stuff around, not sure they are even aware of it at the time.

    My dad is like that.

I found a .22 rifle in his kitchen one day, he was using it to shoot at squirrels from his back step. It was my .22 I didn't even know he had it. Came over and helped himself when i was at sea lol

really I do not know where this stuff goes.
we have been in this house for 24 years. in that time a pair of shoes, 8 pound hammer and the bottoms of a rain suit, that I had worn the previous day, have gone missing.

It doesn't make any sense. I have turned this place upside down looking for the sight. Its the last thing to complete that swede mauser i been yapping about. (Yes i went ahead and restored it as best i could and wasted money) But I like it now and the rifle got saved from the trash.

Don't worry. Your kids/heirs/auctioneer will find it after you both pass away.

Want to find it fast? Buy another one.

    This.

As a general rule of thumb if a woman doesn't know what something is she will throw it away. If she doesn't know what it is but thinks it will be of some use to her in the future she will hide it and forget about it.

And then there are women like my wife who never throw anything away because, " you never know when you might need what ever the fuck that thing is"

She has a whole drawer full of those things in "her" kitchen

Women are also unable to discern the difference between collectible and junk.

I remember seeing an episode of one of those pawn shows where a woman brought in a S&W Model 3 she picked up at a yard sale. She had thrown away the stock because it was cracked.
