A 134-page unclassified book, published in January 1992 by the United States Army War College Strategic Studies Institute, details a revision of an earlier plan that had projected world government to be in effect by the target year of 2000. The report is called A World 2010: A New Order of Nations. The efforts to cement world government by the year 2000 were significantly set back by the work of American patriotic organizations, the formation of constitutional unorganized state militias, and most importantly, the elite's inability to disarm the American people.

The plan is taught in the War College and in all of the U.S. military academies, as the answer to war. They could not be doing what they're doing in Washington, D.C. ― they could not be placing American troops under United Nations or NATO command; they could not be subverting the Constitution for the united States of America, which all officers and enlisted men are sworn to protect and defend against all enemies foreign and domestic ― if the highest ranking officers in all five branches of our military services were not complicit in this plan. I had never heard of this, but that could be because of my commissioning source. As a Navy Limited Duty Officer I did not even earn my degree until I had been commissioned almost 10 years. My school was all OJT, serving on ships, fixing equipment and learning project management.

My reason for posting is to show that, even if this is true and it is being taught, it is not being taught to all of us.

I found this link (http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/ssi/altworld.htm) that is pretty interesting. This link shows the military using various future scenarios to determine how policies (defense, economic, social, etc) can impact the US and the world depending on how the world changes over time. Some of the scenarios are the world is peaceful and the US becomes isolationist, the world is not peaceful, the world is peaceful but threats loom, the world is peaceful militarily but economies are warring.

I could be wrong, as I wrote earlier I had never heard of this before tonight, but it seems to me this is used for contingency planning. I do something similar when planning large maintenance endeavors on ships. I look at what I hope will happen and make a plan for that. Then I look at various things going wrong, determine the likelihood of them happening, and make contingency plans so that I still get my work done on time. If this is what this is for it does not seem as bad as it is portrayed. Not that it could not become bad or may be being used by some for nefarious purposes, but it does not have to be.

The National Defense Panel is a congressional-mandated bipartisan commission that’s co-chairs were appointed by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

On July 31, the National Defense Panel released its long-awaited report on the effects of the QDR and delivered its findings to Congress. The panel pulled no punches — its findings were a scathing indictment of Obama’s foreign policy, national security policy, and defense policy. The panel found that president Barack Obama’s QDR, military force reductions, and trillion-dollar defense budget cuts are dangerous — and will leave the country in a position where it is unable to respond to threats to our nation’s security. This, the panel concluded, must be reversed as soon as possible.

Funny, I always thought this was the purview of the Department of Defense. Silly me.

The rest, I am impressed they noticed, especially since "nonpartisan" generally means partisan without saying they are partisan.
