All great stuff. I always marveled at how incredible VH sounded in the old days. Amazing band. And JP also. And I didn't really discover the Ramones till around 88. I saw them at The Canery in Nashville. Music is my sustanence. Gotta have it.
I have seen the Ramones at least 5 times that I can remember. I had to take my son on a band outing this morning and heard the Van Halen song on the radio, so it has been in my head this morning!
I saw the Ramones once - in 1976 or 1977 if I recall. Their warmup was the Runaways.

Now that would have been a show to see for sure. Joan Jett in her early days...
never thought JJ was that cool. I also didn't think much of Springfield or Seger, but here at the time we had all the music we needed.
