    Attorney files ethics complaint against Rosemary Lehmberg

    AUSTIN -- The Austin attorney who filed a lawsuit to remove Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg from office has now filed an ethics complaint against Lehmberg, citing alleged unreported campaign contributions the district attorney used to pay for her removal lawsuit.

    Kerry O'Brien filed complaints against Lehmberg and Patricia Summerville, the assistant campaign treasurer for the "Friends of Rosemary Lehmberg" SPAC. O'Brien's complaint claims Lehmberg used $227,885.46 in "unidentified, unreported" campaign contributions to pay her lawyers for their work in her removal lawsuit.

    Do you understand that she has just been charged with what amounts to political money laundering? And with the proof of documents she filed herself and what she didn't file or disclose?

    This will likely end with criminal charges...

    Exactly what illegal did Perry do?

    The same Travis County Dems charged Kay Baily Hutchinson and Tom Delay. In both cases it was later determined they what they were charged with broke no law. A Travis County jury even convicted Tom Delay based on him doing something LAWFUL. Every Dem US Rep in the state was doing the same thing they "convicted" Delay on, every damn one of them.

    You are right, it gets hard to think like a free, sovereign man of pure self determination now. I'm working in California right now. It surprises me on how different the conservatives here think, I question my own mindset. Propaganda works... and there has been decades of it at this point. The left is winning in influencing HOW people think. That is wrong, in a huge way, that is wrong.

    If you cannot be challenged in your beliefs and stand up for what you know is right, do you really have a moral center? I choose not to ignore, nor shrink from, an attack on my beliefs, but to confront them and nurture them and place them forward where the light of day proves them to be true.
