    Dissapointed by a few things

First, I got this very offensive leaflet from some youngsters handing out Cheerwines. I took my soda and walked off before they could indoctrinate me. If I had gotten some sleep last night and wasn't in a "fuck all liberals" frame of mind, I would asked those girls handing these out why they ever participated in the slave trade, considering that their leaflet essentially states that all Christians including themselves are responsible for all the atrocities of western civilization over the last 1600 years.

And lastly, out of 101 students in a lecture hall, I was the ONLY student to stand up and claim Christ when asked how many students are of a Judeo-Christian ethnicity. Every single other student denied all association with Christ. God help our nation.

That leaflet is disgusting. If someone hands it to me I will tell them to shove it up their ass. The people that produced it are the product of a liberal culture that has taught white people to hate themselves.

It was a sacrifice I had to make for a free cheerwine.

Totally agreed about them being trained to hate themselves. They're being convinced to commit national suicide and cede our authority over to international interests.

I kind of like liberal Christians. They actually believe in that whole "judge not lest ye be judged" part of the Bible.

And they piss off the ultra-conservative fundamentalists who think they have a monopoly over what it means to be a "Christian", which is an added bonus.

What's idiotic is that EVERYONE was barbaric in the old times, Romans, Greeks, Vikings, Tartars, Hussars, Visigoths, Mongols. Stretching from Northern Europe, across all of Asia, down to Africa (where they never technically stopped being barbarians) to 'the new world', even Native Americans.... everyone was a fucking barbarian. Quick to KILL any stranger they met. If you were shipwrecked on any shore, chances are the locals would kill you first, ask questions later.

I really think Modern sensibilities of being kind to others, Not murdering all outsiders, treating the handicapped or mentally ill with compassion, helping those in need, really came into being only by the 19th century. Sure, the church was at the forefront of a lot of the 'charity' for the poor and helpless, but that was more of a local phenomenon, than an edict by the establishment church.

What bothers me is that Christians don't get credit for becoming civilized a long time ago. The Muslims are medieval barbarians RIGHT NOW. WTF?

Nah man. The other students in "History of Global Terrorism" said that muslims are freedom fighters and America is the real global terrorist.

This was only day one, the prof just let the class talk to get a feel for everyone. I have a feeling (and a hope) that the harsh realities of the history of warfare may give these innocent albino sheep a new perspective on the world.

You should have seen our online Philosophy 202 (Ethics) class last semester... we heathens were running roughshod over the discussion boards, there was only one outspoken Christian and a couple older women who mostly kept to themselves. I felt bad even picking on them, so I mostly just left them alone and addressed most of my comments to the rest of the class in general.

There was still a pretty even split between conservative and liberal opinions on everything from euthanasia to the death penalty, but even most of the conservative types were irreligious, maybe believed in God, but not Christ which was interesting.

The Millenials are so caught up in their creature features and material possessions, they don't have time for religion, apparently.

I've never done any of the crimes they mentioned in this leaflet, and yet they claim anyone not part of the modern non-Christian "Jesus-based spirituality" is guilty of these things.

Its a slap in the face. Just like your very presence on this forum is a slap in the face.

"tea-party/homophobic" ... right there shows who these tards really are.

We were warned that "they" would try to 're-write' things in their twisted image.

You should attend one of their church services, just to keep an open-mind. Maybe you'll gather more from their perspective.

I mean, if more people are declaring Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, does it really matter so much what politics they follow?

Did not Jesus allegedly help the poor and downtrodden, heal the sick, kick the money-changers out of the temple? Not exactly conservative positions these days...

Who the fuck do you think is paying for everything you POS? It sure as fuck isn't a loser like you. Christian charities do more good in this country than godless queers such as yourself.

I very well may. I don't hate these people, I want them to become more tolerant and less hateful.

They reject Jesus as their personal saviour and misuse his teachings to support socialism.

Where did you read anything about that in this thread or on the leaflet? Or are you just trying to stir shit?

    Rhetorical question, obviously.

I thought those were well-known themes from the Bible? Just trying to remember back to 9th Grade theology class at a private Catholic school I attended for one-and-a-half semesters...

All I'm saying is that conservatives don't have a monopoly on what it means to be a Christian. Just like there are Orthodox Jews and Reform Jews, not all Christians can so easily be put into a single box.

If I'm incorrect about this part then my differences with them would only be in the interpretation of scripture and history.

I don't know. Liberals embody HATE. They hate ANYONE who is not a liberal. It's visceral. It's maniacal. And it's a real palpable hate. Can't make liberals tolerant of anyone opposed to their socialist agenda.

Exactly. This hate can clearly be seen in their leaflet which wholly divorces themselves from and condemns all other forms of Christianity.

And yet I'm being preached to by an socialist atheist who claims that these people are the inclusive ones and I'm the one who is intolerant.

God forbid that it be pointed out to these brainwashed liberal a-holes Islam is 10x the force of evil that Christianity is in TODAY'S world.

Let's instead dwell on the transgressions from the Middle Ages & the early history of the New World.

I have to laugh out loud when I think about how these spoiled socialist brats would be treated under Sharia Law.

you should have claimed islam. The lollypop sluts handing out the leaflets probably would have blown you right there while you were drinking your soda.
