I live in Wilkes-Barre. We had 12 murders last year and 11 of them were within about half a mile of her house. Gentrification in NYC and Newark is causing an exodus to our rustbelt city where we have cheap housing. There are no jobs here they left when the coal mines shut down in the 60's and 70's. They just came here to collect welfare. I would not be surprised if Cities like Wilkes-Barre look like Mad Max in 20 years. Isolated, no jobs, and no money to provide police. If it lasts that long the 100+ year old houses they are moving into were never meant to contain this kind of plague. They are being destroyed and condemned fast. Its amazing what 2-3 years of scum can do to a house that stood perfectly for decades. The only thing on earth I can compare it too is Locusts.
There is a great white flight in Wilkes-Barre everybody is leaving. My youngest daughter has 2 years left until she finishes high school and then we are gone.
