    temperature updates

what is it running where you are?

I am 30 miles e of Atlanta . over the past few days the temps have been 90-95 degrees, while I know that is not real hot for some of you, we have to factor in a lot of humidity.
I mean it is not like we do not have a billion trees and all the undergrowth to go with it.

99 degrees with a "feels like" (heat index) 108

Oddly it's rather dry and doesn't feel too bad out. Which probably makes it more dangerous, people aren't so used to that around here.

    Remember to hydrate!

    99 degrees and 42% humidity.

Thank God the humidity has come down.

Another factor down here is the huge as shit mosquitoes that don't seem to mind being out in the heat.

SF Bay area, 50s/60s at sun up, 70s as a high close to the water, 90s well inland...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

It's been in the low to mid-80's here for the past couple of weeks. Usually, it would be around mid to upper-90's but then you have to factor in CO2 buildup, carbon emissions, and global warming, so that's why we are having lower than normal temperatures here.

About the same as kad, humidty pushes the heat index to the frikin miserable zone.
Many kwh are flowing through the air conditioner today.

Yeah I remember going camping with my dad when I was a kid on the sand bars of the olcmogee river In central Ga. There were a few times we had to put five gallon buckets over our heads to catch a break from them big fuckers.

yeah. a few years ago 04 I got to go to the o/b of n.c.. spent a night on a 14' john boat tied to the intercoastal waterway bank. I was very glad to have SEVERAL towels. literally could not sleep just from the sound of so many mosquitoes. I will never forget that.

here at home I have been blessed this year.
I have only killed 22, yes I do count confirmed mosquitoe kills, me thinks it was global warming because we had one of our coldest winters, ever,
    last year.
