    I had a chance to check out some 19'th and early 20'th century vibrators about a year ago (in an academic setting). They were so old, they were meant to be screwed into a light socket since normal wall sockets hadn't come out yet. They had the boxes and paperwork and everything included. It was real interesting. The most unusual part is that they were advertised for use by men as a means to massage their prostate. They were also apparently used by psychologists of the era to cure female "hysteria".

    I seriously doubt the loser in the link you provided actually had anything of historical value.

    I'm sorry but no matter how sick a person is there are just some things you need to get rid of before you kick the bucket. If I were in her shoes I'd drop them off at a meeting of my local Red Hats or find someone planning a bridal shower. They could hand them out as gag gifts, pun intended.
