King Barack in his ever increasing power of wisdom is talking about sending 3000 military personnel to Africa to fight the Ebola virus. If I understand this logic, are they going to use the M-4, M-16, or M9 to fight the virus?

Is his intent to get our people sick in a perverted way of decreasing the number of military personnel?

So the "not-a-war" on terror is now taking a back seat to this "war on Ebola".

Having a family member as a military physician, I am really wondering what I as a nobody can do, other than write my senators (done) and how they can convince the idiot-in-chief that sending in our military is just plain stupid.

I'm trying to figure out how all these doctors are getting infected. They have to be using level 4 precautions, right? What's the method of transmission then? Airborne? Insect? I'm assuming it's occurring after they remove their protective gear and I'm also assuming healthcare professionals are careful not to risk exposure when unprotected.

The military is for blowing shit up and killing people. They aren't docs in a Box. I think Africa should be embargoed by air, nobody gets out. Do fly over touch and go drop offs of supplies. Hell maybe this is The Walking Dead or Dying. I hear this Ebola shit is in major cities over there now, the hospitals are filled up and the infected are wandering the streets oozing body fluids, thus spreading the infection. Well this could be part of a more sinister plan. Due to the specialized training required troops from posts across the US and continental Europe will be needed for this mission. Obama sends them to Africa and rotates some back to their posts before they can show signs of infection. They spread ebola throughout their posts and take the military out of the picture paving the way to declare martial law and put DHS and FEMA in charge.

Apparently, they will be setting up 1700 beds for sick people, and help train hundreds of people how to care for them.
