    "Guns" magazine any good?

They sent me a subscription offer today that's cheap enough I'm considering it for toilet reading, but I've never read an issue of it. So is it decent (by gun rag standards) or is it month after month of articles about the latest blaze orange wool panties?

I don't know. depends on what you are wanting to read. I find American rifleman kinda of slighting the common man these days.

Being a member of the North American Hunting Club and the NRA, I get North American Hunter and American Hunter. Those are the only two I currently take. I used to take Illinois Game & Fish but just didn't have the time for all of them.

as far as gun magazines go, it's better than most.

however, that is rapidly becoming like being the tallest dwarf, or smartest moron. competing with recoil magazine? they'd damn well better win!

gun mags are repetitive as hell. how many changes can be made in the gun world? how many aren't covered somewhere on the internet?

I had a subscription to Guns and Handgunner back in the early 90's all the way to the early 00's.

I had no idea they were still around.

My favorite gun mag will always be Small Arms Review.

..and even though it is not a gun mag, Soldier Of Fortune has always been great.

Recoil is good, but damn is it expensive.
Here's to pussy and gunpowder. One to live for, the other to die by.....Goddamn though, I do love the smell of 'em both !!!
