When it gets to killing off its host it results in what's known as a virus melt. The cells of the victim are so destroyed the body is basically a bag of goo with bones in it. There'd be a lot of virii in that bag. If they can get ebola to spore up like variola (smallpox) does, the dried infected tissue will release spores of ebola that are the size of smoke particles or smaller and the wind can carry them everywhere.
