Dayum. I'm glad we don't have these around here.

That 'ol gal would make a great family pet. Put a leash on her and you're good to go! I had a pet rose-hair tarantula for ten years growing up and would let her crawl all over me. Cool creatures.

    That's far from overkill.

Just to be safe we should nuke it from orbit....

Guys, not to worry. It's from South America, and our southern border is secure.
No enemy of America would have ever been killed if they didn't show up to be killed. HDR

I was thinking FAL or M1A / M1 Garand. I'm not sure .223 mouse gun would be enough.

It looks kind of cuddly. I feel sorry for spiders, they are so misunderstood. I like the big fat ones that built nests and keep the flying bug population down. Sometimes I chit chat at them when I am bored at night.

Hahaha. Cool! I'd LOVE to see that around here. I'm not arachnophobic but tons of my friends are. Well California has a LOT of indigenous tarantulas. In fact, Camp Roberts always had this massive black tarantula migration when I was there. I remember going prone during a combat exercise and there was this massive sucker right in my face and then I realized that there were eight more within stone's throw of my body. hahahaha.

Compared to widows & brownies these big mamas are docile. I've always wanted to have a large female tarantula in a terrarium as a pet but Mrs K keeps on saying "NO".
