Outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder’s “buh-bye” remarks quoted yesterday by The Hill regarding his regrets that the Obama administration’s “inability to enact more stringent gun control regulations as among the biggest failures of his tenure, saying the matter ‘weighs heavily’ on his mind,” is proof positive that elections do matter.
It is not just who is elected, but who that individual appoints to positions of authority, that ultimately “weigh heavily” on the minds of American gun owners, as a press release yesterday from the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms attests. CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb was talking about a new gun control policy in Great Britain that will “allow unannounced searches of the homes of registered British gun owners.” These regulations were adopted by British bureaucrats who weren't elected by anybody, but came from the British Home Office, according to Fox News.
