Watching live after dropping the wife off at the airport.

Is this going to be Jihad or Quebec separatists?

Even if it were jihadists, I'm sure there's going to be a call for more, draconian gun laws up there.

I'm trying to figure out how a person, armed with a rifle, was able to just walk into the Parliment Building in broad daylight.... Must have the same security our Pres. has...

Yea but I am stuck in a building with a folder of paperwork and can't get back to my unit. Were not allowed to leave the building. Sitting on a bench lol.

Oh well, sounds about like how 0bama would handle the same thing down here, other than him helping the jihads get away that is.

Any word yet on exactly who it was or what their beef with the Canadian government is?

I feel you pain. Same thing happened here during the Navy Yard shooting last year. I really don't think locking the door and grabbing my stapler is the best method of protection against an attack. Even if the stapler is a Swingline!

Only if it was in the King Barack Land. In Canada they are not afraid to call terrorism...terrorism.

Canadian police are investigating a man named as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau as a possible suspect in the shootings around parliament, a source familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

Two U.S. officials said that U.S. agencies have been advised that the shooter was a Canadian convert to Islam. One of the officials said that the man was from Quebec.
I guess we can chalk it up to Workplace Jihad.

I feel really bad for the decent citizens of Canada. I already know that this incident will prompt more calls for even more restrictive gun laws in that country. My thoughts and prayers are with the innocent soldier who lost his life today.

Well, I think we all know that Islam is a religion of peace. Therefore it's got to be the guns at fault here.

    I mean, really. 2+2=5.
"That tyranny has all the vices both of democracy and oligarchy is evident. Oh I'm sure the canook anti's will start to beat the drum immediately for more gun-control, but just stop and think of the insanity of it.

Islamic terrorists have just went on a rampage, so to protect ourselves we should give up "our" guns and restrict "our" access to firearms.

Being unarmed and helpless will save us!

Or perhaps someday the tide will turn and sanity will prevail when the people finally wise up and tell those nuts to STFU!

You stop evil and terror by being armed and ready to meet it where ever it may raise it's ugly head.
