Sleeping with more than 20 women protects men against prostate cancer, a study has suggested.
Men who had slept with more than 20 women lowered their risk of developing cancer by almost one third, and were 19 per cent less likely to develop the most aggressive form.

I think it amounts to having regular sex, more than the number of women men sleep with. Having had 20+ sex partners would indicate more frequent sex over time than having one partner over the same time period. All married men know this.

I think N/A we need to convince our wives the study is valid. It's for our own good. Is it cumulative? I've had sex with more than 20 women over about 7-8 years when i was younger. I volunteer to start again with the woman in that picture.
I think the conclusion is right, just the wrong premise was used for the study. Regular "use" of the prostate keeps is what keeps it healthy. They should have had long term married men who have regular sex as a control group to compare to those that had many partners.
And then, no matter what you do, the cancer can still get you. I'm a prostate cancer survivor.
But by all means your wife should understand that regular sex will keep the prostate healthy.
