Thumbs up Great idea: Man throws together a bunch of cheap zip guns to turn in at a gun buy-back

Great idea, but the guy over-did it by trying to bring in way too many, IMO. I guess the officer working the table got skeptical and didn't offer the fellow the $50 per firearm. Writing all the humorous stuff on the stocks probably didn't help, either. He probably would have gotten away with one or two.

Another idea I've heard bandied about along this vein is buying a bunch of starter pistols and dremeling out the red barrel plugs. Idiots running the buyback program probably wouldn't know the difference.

Wouldn't be economical if the buyback was only $50 per firearm unless you could find some used for cheap, but in places like Massachusetts where they were doing the whole $200 Target gift cards and what not, you could turn some serious profit.

^Ain't exactly expensive to make a zip gun. So yeah, it'd be more than worth the $50/ gun.
