I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.
Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

I have an old rotary phone from the 1960's. It's HEAVY bakelite, uses a carbon microphone and a mechanical rotary dial. It's not quite as "old" looking as yours, but it looks older than a "modern" 1980's dial phone.
It has non-coiled (straight) cotton covered wires. I had to make a little adapter box to be able to connect the phone wires to a modular phone jack. I didn't want to modify the phone, so I made an adapter that connects to the end of the wire. It's a modular wall jack that the phone spade lugs are wired to, then a short "pigtail" of two male modular connectors to connect the box to the wall (which in turn is connected to the phone).
Nice this is that it works even when there's a power outage.
People many times ask me "what kind of phone are you on? It sounds really clear". How about that?

Typical Aleutian Hell. Pissin' rain and blowin' like a bastid.
Usually sufferers of paraphilic infantilism are proud of their condition. Kinda like being a liberal. Your mental flaws are there for the entire world to see, and you're damned proud of it. - tank_monkey
It should get up to about 70 F today, sunny and the low around 50 F.
Steve
After today, it's all historical.
Supposed to hit the low 60s today, but lots of snow still around from the last storm.
Hopefully the heat will melt off a lot of hit, cause tomorrow we're supposed to get another cold front.
Gonna drag the bikes out today and fire them up for some short rides around town. Haven't winterized them yet and it's been awhile since I could ride, don't want any gummed up carbs.
LOL. A girl I know posted this pic on her way to work Rare for California. I figure that our friends in TX and some other states are more used to this
Yup, snow and rain, cold...Northern Cali
Well actually our friends in TEXAS have always suffered MUCH WORSE. I think some of the worst floods I've been in have been in Texas, Tennessee and Missouri. I don't count any Hurricane related flooding, just flooding because of regular rain storms.
