Dammit I hate being reduced to a city car!

My old truck would have crushed those assholes.

Too bad the driver didn't have an AK barrel to stick out the window.

Wow guys...not the response I was expecting.

But, it is the internet...so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Quite frankly Kad, if these assholes are in my way raising hell over bullshit, I'd have run them over too. Some people have shit to do.

Same here. Especially if I have my family in the car.

Yes I know, the innocent driver, who has never killed Michael Brown, should have no problem risking his life and property to the mercies of an unknown and unpredictable crowd.

In my opinion, I think you are dead on.

I can get trying to drive through if essentially "trapped" and fearful. I can totally understand someone in a car worrying they might be dragged from the car and beaten.

But if the driver bumped or hit those folks initially out of anger, or even impatience...that's seriously messed up.

I didn't think it was funny either, that driver may have been on his way to the hospital where his wife or child was dying and the selfish protesters were keeping him from being at their side, not a damn thing funny about that.

True. Obviously traffic delays are a part of life. But I'm not ok with this shutting down highways stuff. Thinking on it, a huge area got a bit cut off from several major hospitals when 44 was shut down last night.

I can get shutting down a couple streets, but they need to reroute traffic so people don't get swarmed.

A number of places on Grand shut down early tonight so their employees could get out of the area without getting stuck in the neighborhood with blocked off streets.

I'm kinda wondering if that's what happened. It's all quiet most of the day, then crowds gather, somebody leaving work goes their normal route sees it full of people and either panics or gets angry/annoyed and tries to muscle through.

While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

Nice that they let the ambulance through, and it seemed like they broke it up pretty quick.

Honestly though, it's just asking for trouble. Cars going 55-65 MPH, all the sudden people on the road at night. Half of them probably wearing masks. Looked to me like some carrying flares.

Yeah I can get the people, particularly those up front with protestors weaving in front of and behind their car as being potentially absolutely terrified.

    Recipe for disaster.

    Who cares? Hit the gas.

I'm guessing fearful. An angry driver would have backed up and cut another swath.
