Yep, pretty much as expected. They never fail to live down to expectations.
The regime gives orders to the local politicians who then pass those orders on to the local leos. When the regime tries to take over they'll use the same tactics, leos aiding domestic enemies.

They did that in Dallas too. The DPD had them arrested and traffic flowing in about 20 minutes.
