on the note of unusual suicides, earlier this year a small town near me has thier little "iron heritage festival" in the towns main street, which also has a set of railroad tracks. apparently some homeless guy decided to go and lay out on the tracks and kill himself right in front of everyone during the festival.
There are tons of bridges where I live so inevitably there are traffic jams caused by bridge jumpers when the police show up and close everything down.
Earlier this year one man threw his coworker over a bridge to death, then jumped off himself to avoid police, survived the landing and escaped into the marsh.

I read about that one too. I thought it was the other way around? The guy that got thrown over survived, the guy that threw him over died?
