People who read the initiative knew that. The problem was that people did not read the initiative but voted on it based on its purposely deceptively written title. Once I pointed out to people what was in the initiative and showed that I had actually read and understood it, there was not a single person that supported it. I actually had a few people call me when voting to make sure they voted against it. Unfortunately more people did not read than did. My only hope now is for it to be over-ruled by the legislature or to be found unconstitutional by the courts. I have not heard of any court challenges yet, so I may need to look for a new home state. Bother, I really like Washington.
