Sounds high to me, too, but it's a good sign they have some, at least.

p.s. Never heard of them, either.

Six dollars per 50 is too high for cheap ammo. That's CCI Stinger prices. Last year I paid $9 per 100 for CCI Mini Mags locally and thought that it was high. Unfortunately, most places around north Al. want $10 per 100 (or more) for Federal or CCI. The .22lr is slowly coming back, and prices are going to drop. Don't pay rip off prices for it.

Funny when you see a company like Brownell's, or CDNN advertising that they have .22LR but at prices that would make you think you were buying it from the mob. CDNN advertised Remington T-bolt for the bargain price of $50 a brick.

Guess my days of shooting my .22LRs are now fond memories. So sad that new people getting into the hobby might think $50 a brick is a good price. I won't break it to them that when my daughter and I used to go out for a full day of shooting, we bought a case (5000 rounds) for that same $50. Yes that was yesterday's dollar versus today's, but still...
